Our Swim Meet @ Chase Creek

I had a swim meet on Saturday. I was at Chase Creek.I swam three events. Freestyle,Backstroke,and Butterfly. In Freestyle, I got a heat ribbon in a 50.I took off five seconds from my time. And overall I got second place.I got beat by a 10 yr. old.In Backstroke, I got second place in my heat and second place overall. In butterfly, I got a heat ribbon again. I got third place overall. I earned seven points for my team.So I guess you would say I had a really good meet!

Happy birthday Mr.Glick!

Yesterday I went to Vincene's father's house and we celebrated his birthday. We had a lot of fun! We went by the creek. And our dam blew out. It survived at least a good five storms when the water was up to an adult's knee.

The bad things of the dam

• wood or" branches" were weak
• rocks were too light and small
• we only worked on it till our trip was done so maybe a hour or so
• water was faster when we picked rocks from the water

All things equal up to the dam falling to pieces
Back to the party, we had a cook out and ate some Carnival Ice CreamCake. That was a fun day!

I hate caterpillars

Today, @ recess everybody was messing with nasty caterpillars. I hate them. They're furry, gross and just eewww. All they do is sleep,eat, and poop. Everybody thinks I'm crazy but I'm not. They are they are like oh I love catrpillars. And I'm all like your gross. People eat out side and like in Eric Carle's The Hungry Caterpillers, they eat all your food. How rude!

Mile Run Today

I had a mile run today in gym. Last time in gym I hade a decint time.But today I had the best score any one could have. 7 m. and 40 s. I was in 3rd place 1st girl. How cool! My friend Madison in fourth grade was cheering for me because she was @ recess. She made her friends, Hope and Lexi cheer for me too.

This kid Bryce in4th grade was like Leah,Leah and was trying to run faster than me but I blew him out of breathe. All I really wanted to say was Thanks Maddie!

Addy & Riley

Riley and Addy are so in sink. They both love Tinker Bell,My Little Pony,and Barbie in a Mermaid Tale. They both love trains, Florida, and Christmas. The picture to the right shows all of that and more. Laughing and giggling. They are total giggles glore. Riley is now sick. My mom thinks. Because when Riley sick she is a a grumpy. Her head feels hot and has her bad cough back. Poor Riri. Any way Addy is just all I have thought about all day so I decided to wright about her.

Just the way Addy dances to The Queen of the Waves in Barbie in a Mermaid's Tail just makes me laugh. Addy is the coolest and I can't wait to see her watching that movie over and over like the way way she watches Flushed Away the movie with the rats. Addy and Riley just crack me up.

Swim Team Registrations

Today was swim team registration. I was very excited because last year was the last year of our old swimsuit design. This year we have a red, white,and black plaid swimsuit. The model is shown above. This tear I'm in the Junior practice and in the 9-10 swimming group. Which means harder practices and I have to to have shorter time than last year to make it to the gold meet.
I saw a bunch of old faces from last year's season. Like Mike,Brian(seniors this year),Faith, and Layla(girls my age who also swam @ big vanilla for winter swimming). Did I mention I swam in a national swim club in the winter. I guess I'm following in my dad's footsteps. Also, my mom because my sister(Riley)and I are taking after her field hockey passion and I'm doing lacrosse which was my mom's favorite sport.
Coach Jen is leading my team this year. A well as a senior last year who can longer compete on my team Coach Rachel. Mr.Ron's (the leader who order team supplies, make the papers,not this year was the clerk of course) daughter.

Sleepy head Riley

Riley woke up this morning around 8:00. She was not repeat not happy. She was saying turn the t.v. off, 5 more minutes. Riley was sucking her thumb in peace intill I had woke her up. That thumb is the closest thing she has compared to a teddy bear of some sort. Riley sleeps without the covers on but tonight she actully slept with the covers on. She's starting to really change. Riley is growing up,up,up.I miss the 2 year old Riley letting me hold her, play with her. I miss swinging in Uncle Trey's swing like the picture to the side. Riley is a big girl now.

Lacrosse Game.........

Today,I had a lacrosse game. We got killed. We lose by 5. Every lacrosse game I have I done something like tell a girl to get her stick out of my face. Today, I tripped a tall girl with my stick. She was in my way so I tripped her. These girls were tall and when I say tall I mean tall. They looked like they were in middle school. For ex. This is me Leah and this the other girl The other girl . Do you see the difference?
